Energy for Romania
The first edition of the "Energy for Romania" event marks the debut of an initiative that connects technological innovation in the energy field with social responsibility.
Organized by the Electrica Group, in partnership with the Electrica Foundation, the "business to charity" event becomes not only a visibility and networking platform for leaders in the energy field, but also a social initiative with real impact.

Supporting children in communities affected by energy poverty
Energy poverty affects consumers from all walks of life, especially the elderly and families with children. According to data from the Romanian Energy Poverty Observatory (ORSE), recent global events have exacerbated energy poverty in Romania - the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the energy price crisis in 2021, as well as the outbreak of the war between Russia and Ukraine in 2022.
Educational projects
The Electrica Foundation is involved in educational projects to provide equal opportunities for all. We support access to quality education and develop initiatives that transform the lives of young people, opening up new horizons for them.
The Electrica Foundation has concluded a strategic partnership with the robotics team Renaissance Robotics
Health projects
We dedicate our resources to health projects, ensuring that appropriate medical services are available to all. We encourage innovation and collaborate with partners to improve community health.
Environmental projects
The Electrica Foundation is committed to environmental protection and climate change projects. We work for a sustainable future, implementing solutions that reduce environmental impact and supporting climate neutrality goals.
